At Miles ride we feel that it is important to keep our customers up to date with the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. While the situation in each city is different, restrictions on travel have been imposed all around the globe. We want to make sure Miles drivers and riders know the best ways to help protect themselves and others when sharing the ride.
When riding with Miles, wear a mask or face cover. For safety reasons, If your driver isn’t wearing a mask or if your car is unhygienic, you can cancel your ride.
Get and carry cleaning and disinfectant spray or disposable wipes and disposal trash bags with you in your vehicle.
We ask drivers to cover their face before they can begin driving, and our technology helps verify that they are wearing a face cover.
1. Telling our drivers to stay at home and self-isolate if they have any of the symptoms of coronavirus set out by the WHO.
2. Cleaning frequently-touched surfaces, both inside and on the outside of the vehicle, with disinfectant after every journey.
3. It has never been our policy for drivers to greet passengers with a handshake. Our drivers will continue to politely greet you at a safe distance.
4. Providing hand sanitizer to passengers upon request.
5. Passengers are only able to sit in the back of the vehicle to maintain a safe distance.
1. Cover your mouth and nose. If you sneeze or cough, do so into your elbow or a tissue.
2. Ask riders to maintain distance. It’s OK to ask riders to sit in the back to give you more space.
3. Open the window. If possible, roll down the windows to improve ventilation.
4. Chauffeur wears facemask, and provides you with a facemask if needed.
5. After each ride has been completed, drivers are required to disinfect their vehicles before the next ride.

The CDC recommends the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus, and help people who may have it, but don’t know it, from transmitting it to others.
If you begin to develop a fever, or symptoms such as a cough or difficulty breathing, call a medical professional.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Visit the CDC’s guide on handwashing. Use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes door frames and handles, windows, seat belt buckles, the steering wheel, the gearshift, signaling levers, and other vehicle parts.
